New Hampshire venues and all of the many people who perform on our stages care about providing world class entertainment in the Granite State. We also care about the safety of our patrons, employees, and performers. Due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases, you might find us limiting programs, taking short pauses or extended intermissions. Please continue to wear masks, wash your hands, and social distance. We will be back.

Childsplay, Featuring Ireland’s Karan Casey

Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at 7pm

This show is presented in Celebration of Derry’s 300th Anniversary as America’s first Scots/ Irish settlement

Childsplay’s over two dozen musicians come from all over the United States and Sweden and include some of the leading virtuosos in traditional and contemporary fiddle music. The level of musicianship is unsurpassed, with a repertoire that ranges from the lilting beauty of Celtic jigs and airs to the driving rhythms of  hoe-downs from the mountains of the southern United States to the smoky improvisations of jazz, a Childsplay concert will delight its listeners and show how versatility and exuberance are indeed “childsplay,” for this dynamic group.

“The camaraderie among the band members, their generosity toward one another and the sheer love of playing the fiddle just filled the room” – Portland Press Herald

Tickets range from $20-$35
