COVID-19 Announcement

As of March 13th, 2020 (updated 3/30/20)

All events at the Stockbridge Theatre have currently been suspended.

Governor Chris Sununu issued a stay at home order on Thursday, March 26, for New Hampshire residents, in effect until May 4th. This is part of the state’s broader efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus in New Hampshire.

Pinkerton Academy made the move to remote learning on March 13, 2020, and the Stockbridge Theatre suspended all events. This was done to support community efforts to flatten the curve and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It has become increasingly obvious that these efforts need to be more long-term to make a meaningful impact.

The Pinkerton Players’ Spring Musical, Children of Eden, will be rescheduled once it is safe to reopen. We will also be rescheduling other on-campus events and rentals as soon as we are able. All performances in our Presenting Season will be rescheduled for next year. We will announce all changes once they have been made and ask that all refunds and exchanges be processed once new dates have been determined, as we hope you will still be able to join us for these rescheduled performances.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this causes many people, but we have decided to take these measures to keep our community safe in an effort to do our part in minimizing exposure, and we hope shared community efforts will help to quell the spread of the virus. Once again we remind all members of our community to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

We will continue to update our patrons throughout the duration of the pandemic. We cannot overstate how grateful we are for the support of our entire community. This is a situation that none of us have faced before, and it is the cooperation of everyone that will help us navigate it. We look forward to returning to regular operations as soon as we are able to do so safely.

Thank you.

Final Competition

Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 6:00 PM

After two nights of preliminary competition, this Saturday night show will begin with the announcement of the top twelve contestants vying for the title of Miss New Hampshire 2017.  A year in the making, the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program will crown the next Miss New Hampshire who will go on to compete in the illustrious Miss America Competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September.  After the announcement these twelve selected contestants will compete in Talent and Evening-Wear on stage competitions to narrow the Top 12 down to the Top 8 who will compete in Swimsuit to narrow it to the Top 5.  Once the Top 5 have been announced, these young ladies will come back on stage to compete in On-stage Question.  This is a “not to be missed” event.  As the tension builds, emcee Jamie Staton is sure to keep the suspense going and entertain you with his quick wit.  Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program is thrilled to have Jamie emcee this event for the 11th year.  Miss New Hampshire 2016, Caroline Carter, will be crowning Miss New Hampshire 2017 at the conclusion of the night’s show.
