Twelve Months of Music

Presented by the New England Wind Symphony, Clayton "Skip" Poole, Music Director

Thursday, December 4th at 7:30 PM

In Celebration of the 200th anniversary of Pinkerton Academy, the forty piece New England Wind Symphony , along with their special guests, will be saluting the year in music. From the cold January days to the warm July evenings and the beautiful fall colors to the special Holiday month of December, the ambiance of the hall will sparkle with a musical soundscape of colors celebrating each month of the year. Highlights will include the performance of a world premiere musical work by noted composer and former leader of the US Navy Commodores, Jerry Ascione, a vocal cavalcade and a traditional reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by NH public radio personality Ms. Laura Knoy. All proceeds from this special event will go to benefit “The Stockbridge Theatre Restoration Fund”.
