The Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy
Pinkerton Academy’s Arts and Humanities Center houses the 881 seat Stockbridge Theatre completed in 2002. The state-of-the art facility is primarily dedicated to the education and cultural enhancement of Pinkerton Academy’s students. The Stockbridge provides a fitting home for all of the Academy’s performing arts groups including the Pinkerton Players, The Pinkerton Band, The Pinkerton Chorus, and the Pinkerton Dance Club.
“To plant seeds and watch the
renewal of life... is the most satisfying thing a man
can do.”
– Charles Dudley Warner (1829-1900), from My Summer in a Garden (1870)
The Stockbridge is also home to many community events and is available for rental. It is the perfect facility for anything from dance recitals and concerts to catered dinners and corporate meetings. Along with our state-of-the-art performing arts technology, we offer our clients a professional support staff with years of experience in technical event production. From the time that you reserve the space through the time that your event concludes, our Facilities Director or one of our event managers will work closely with you to insure that your event goes as smoothly as possible. Please contact us if you are interested in learning how the Stockbridge can be the home of your next event. |
